DETERMINAN NILAI TAMBAH EKONOMI USAHA PENGOLAHAN SAMPAH DI BUMDES PANGGUNG LESTARI DAN BUMDES GUWOSARI, KABUPATEN BANTUL

Abstract
This study aims to: 1) analyze the influence of social capital, transformational leadership, technology, and partnerships on the success of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in creating economic value-added from waste processing activities; and 2) develop a model to revitalize the role of BUMDes in strengthening the village economy. The research was conducted at BUMDes Panggung Lestari and BUMDes Guwosari in Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The respondents are comprising leaders, administrators, employees, and BUMDes members with totaled 97 individuals with the sample size determinaned using the Slovin formula. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression on the Ordinary Least Squares method. The results indicate that social capital, transformational leadership, technology, and partnerships have a positive and significant influence on the success of BUMDes in creating economic value-added from waste processing activities. The revitalization of the BUMDes role regarding waste management and village economic strengthening is structured through the stages of input, core process, output, outcome, and impact. Inputs include plastic waste, organic waste, human resources and technology, as well as social capital and partnerships. Core processes involve collection and sorting; plastic processing via pyrolysis and pelletization; organic waste processing into compost, animal feed, and biogas; and management of the KUPAS business unit. Outputs include diesel fuel, Pertalite, recycled tables and chairs, organic fertilizer and biogas, waste banks, and employment opportunities. Outcomes include optimal production exceeding three times per week, increased BUMDes revenue, and a village circular economy. Impacts include village self-sufficiency in energy and fertilizer, serving as a green village role model, and improved community welfare
